Here are some of our pictures that we took while vacationing at your
wonderful home in Punta Banda. My whole family had a blast and this was
so far our best vacation yet. We had a great time on the beach and
around Punta Banda. Our favorite places to eat were Danny's, Sharky's,

Juniors and Taco Plaza (breakfast). We loved waking up to the sound of
the ocean and we all felt like we couldn't "get away" from that sound.
It was so relaxing to be able to slow down from the hectic lives we live
in the USA. Our family did many activities in and around Punta Banda for
7 days that went by way too fast. We cannot wait to come back if you
allow us again. You are free to use any of our pictures and if you need
more, just let me know. We took 192 pictures and around 30 movies. Thank
you very much again for all your help and your wonderful home. We are
forever grateful for a great vacation spot for our family.

Thank you so much for that wonderful opportunity, we had such a great time. You guys really did think of everything!!!
La Bufadora was soooo cool, we did alot of shopping there, ate at Habana Banana, and took a ton of pictures. I have about 300 that I want to go through, and pick a few to send you. Andrea and my daughter both got their hair braided on the beach, and the kids all got ice cream from the vendors. I never knew my little dog could chase a horse so fast, and that was a little scary. I had to secure him when the horses came, just because he'd get so excited, and I didnt want him to get kicked. :)
We ate at Danny's taco stand almost daily, and ventured into Ensenada for groceries. We actually went to Burger King, just for a break from mexican food, and I have never seen a NICER and CLEANER fast food place. That was surprising!!
We all took the 3 to Tecate to cross the border, and it only took a 1/2 hour waiting. Not bad!! Plus the drive through the vineyards was really pretty. Oh, and the border patrol agent never said a word about my dog, so that was good, since I never ended up getting the health certificate. Whoops!! Oh well..
I feel like I could go on forever about how awesome it was and how much fun we had...oh, and we hung out with Buddy, your next door neighbor alot, he was so helpful with so much info. You're lucky to have him around to keep a close watch. I can't think of one thing you guys do to make it more convenient or fun, you do a great job!!
I can't thank you guys enough!!

I'm going to email Andrea and ask her to send you her mailing address, I know I have it around here somewhere....

Hi Eileen,

We had an amazing time at the house this weekend. Very relaxing! We loved
the house and hope to come back sometime soon. We cleaned all the dishes,
took out the trash and made sure to lock everything up as was asked.

We are back from our vacation to our usual work day. Your house was
beautiful!, I am so happy to have gone there. I will soon send you the
pictures you requested, we went fishing and horseback riding & visited
La Bufadora, But pretty much spent most of the time at the beach. I
wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for ALL the information you
sent me, it was indeed very helpful. This was the first time my girls
had a vacation, one of them asked me, "is this what rich people do every
year?" I have really beautiful images of them enjoying themselves. I
will send you some pictures as soon as I upload them.

Let me begin by thanking you for an absolutely perfect weekend. We had the most wonderful time and cannot wait to return. Casa Lee, as well as Punta Banda, far exceeded our expectations. We were hoping for a little beach house in a private, secluded area and were not disappointed.

The house was beautiful and the views were, well, you know. Maria was great and made herself available if we ever needed anything (which we didn't because everything was just right!). We ate at Sharky's one night and had lunch at Danny's the following day. As for the rest of time, we picked up food from the produce stand and the market and made our own food. On our way home, we popped into La Bufadora. It was nice to see, but to be perfectly honest, nothing beats just hanging around the house playing cards and just relaxing. You really were not kidding when you said how private it was. We saw hardly anyone as it seemed as though we were a million miles away from everyone and everything, which was ideal for all of us. We were just sick to have to leave so soon and made an oath to stay for no less than three to four nights upon our next trip. Needless to say, our trip was just perfect.

Again, I want to thank you and Maria for everything and am already trying
to plan another trip back.

Hi Eileen,

We had a fantastic week! Your Casa was perfect for our family, thank you for sharing it. I'm going to send you pictures of our pinata in the courtyard from New Year's Day. We had enough sunshine to get in the water and use your boogie boards and surf boards a few days in a row and we saw so much sealife: huge clams, loads of starfish, pelicans up-close, a few dead sea lions, a sting ray. The hot sands were fun to explore, too. My dad made friends with your neighbor, Buddy, and he loaned us a saw for cutting our wood to fit the stove. Maria was very kind, checking in daily to see that we were comfortable.

Just wanted to let you know that we had a GREAT time, the place was beautiful. We even found our wedding band on New Years eve in La Bufadora. They agreed to play at our wedding in Loreto in April, and are very happy about it. So that worked out well! Thanks again, we will definitely be back for another stay. Happy New Year!

Dear Eileen,
Thanks for a great weekend at your beautiful home. We all had a great

Thank you so much for the great stay at Casa Hopkins. The kids really
enjoyed their time and having you bring those boogie & skim boards by was a
special treat.
Our whole family had a fun, relaxing time.

I'm sure that my wife Katie will want to input her own thanks (along with a
couple of photos) but I wanted to get this in as soon as possible.

I have another reason for writing this email. During our stay we saw what
looked like a little league baseball team practicing/playing in the dirt
field next to the "Z" road. Seeing the boys playing on those conditions
and also noticing the parents doing what they could (rakes, brooms,
shovels) to make the conditions better got me to thinking.
I happen to be a huge baseball freak. I have been playing, and coaching,
baseball for over 30 years (now at an amateur league in San Diego).
Is there anything I can do to help out that team (or local league if any)?
I don't expect you to have an answer to this question, but I was hoping you
might be able to point me in the direction of someone who might know.
Whatever you can do would be greatly appreciated.

We plan on making stays at the "point" a regular part of the Stone vacation
plans. Katie would like for us to make the visit twice a year, once with
kids and once without.

Hi Eileen,

We got back Sunday and had a wonderful time. You have a very beautiful
house and we were impressed by the amenities and furnishings. Nothing we
ever expected to find in a rental....

We wanted to let you know that we left the house cleaner than we found it
- not to say Maria didn't do a wonderful job to begin with. We did all the
laundry of the towels and linens, scrubbed the kitchen and bathrooms. The
only thing we didn't have, was toilet cleaner, so we used a little kitchen
soap. We left inside the back house refrigerator, a box of food items for
Ana (Maria's oldest daughter). The houses were locked (including all
windows with their security device) and we left the keys on the patio table.

Nothing was broken, and we left everything in it's place. Like I told
you, we treated the house as good (if not better) than we do ours.

We will return next summer. We would like to stay longer - maybe for a
month. If we book now, could we get a better rate?

David and I also think in time we will buy a casa in the same location.

Thank you for allowing us to share your home and build beautiful memories
with our children.
