Our rental was put together with the experience of renting houses on this very beach for many years. Some were good for this and some for that. No house we have rented had all of the outside features we have added to the house.
1) There are stairs in the front of the house that lead to a gated deck on the roof. There are chairs and tables up there and the view is spectacular. We run for the deck whenever the dolphins are running. In addition, during a cold and windy day the four foot glass windows make it warmer up there than on the beach. Be careful of sun burns during winter up there. During the Summer, it is a great place to watch sunsets.
2) We have a large fire pit in the road near the beach house. This pit is deep for great fires that are safe. The pit is surrounded with Mexican tile so you can even walk there barefooted from the houses. Wood is sold in most stores in Punta Banda. We try to have would outside the Pila, but we can not guarantee the guest before you won't burn it all.
3) There is a wall that gives you some privacy and a courtyard between the houses. The wall pictured above has a gate for cars and a gate to the beach. We usually only use the big gates to unload, then we park on the street. The road has plenty of space for two cars parked. The renters Garage has a table and chairs with a large umbrella for enjoying the warm courtyard regardless of the weather or wind.
4) There is an outside shower by the watershed for washing the sand off before entering the houses. Please wash the kids, the dog, and the beach toys here.
5) We have a nice tiled porch next to the entrance of each house. You can enjoy the courtyard by either house.
6) We also have a nice patio made of the same Mexican tile on the beach side of the house. Great for setting up the lawn chairs (in the Renters Garage) for a nice tan.
7) The Renters Garage has a great shade unit and chairs for setting up on the beach.
8) Near the back house are two doors with a Washer and Dryer for your use.
9) The courtyard is perfect for using our smoker style BBQ which you will find in the Renters Garage.
10) We are dedicated to continually updating the house and it's features.
