Our rental was put together with the experience of renting houses on this very beach for many years. Some homes were good for this and some for that. No house we ever rented had all the beach equipment and other appliances we have provided. We made a point of being the best equipped rental on the beach.

1) Surf Fishing Poles are hanging from the ceiling. There are pole holders and tackle so all you need is bait. Bait can be bought in Punta Banda or at Vonny's Fleet in La Jolla. Vonny's Fleet is the best panga boat fishing in the area (see Panga Boat Fishing). I suggest Clams. Anchovies work as well, but you will catch too many Sand Sharks. The best catch is Corvina which is in the White Sea Bass family. Perch, Yellowfin Croaker, and many others are in the water right in front of the house (see Surf Fishing)

2) As for the Surf, we have two large surfboards, several boogie boards, fins for any size foot, and for the small children we have swimming boards as well. There are skim boards as well. 

3) For setting up camp on the beach we have a large shade unit you can take to the beach. We also have chairs for everyone to take to the beach even including small chairs for little people. There are beach mats, beach towels, beach toys for building Sand Castles, and many beach games as well. There is a shower outside by the Water shed, please remember to wash off the beach toys as well as your selves before putting things away.

4) We have chairs, tables, and lawn chairs for all the members of your party. Great for putting out front on our patio to the beach or the deck on the roof. We also have a table, chairs, and umbrella for the courtyard area.

5) We have some other games like two mini Ping Pong Tables. OK they are small, but they are fast and fun. We also have air hockey. There is a closet in the garage that has board games for all ages. The closet also has coloring books, crayons, learning books, markers, and even clay for the kids. 

6) Football, soccer ball, frisbees, squash paddles and balls, bad mitten, and many more games for your use on the beach.

7) Our charcoal barbeque is a smoker type and I highly suggest you buy the chicken legs and thighs at the Produce Stand in Punta Banda. Each house is stocked with spices and tenderizer for your Barbequing. All of the needed tools are hanging near the BBQ.

The idea of our house is that you need bring nothing but your clothes and sun screen. Food and other necessities you can buy in town or our local restaurants, but the rest you can leave at home. We have a regular group of people that fly into San Diego with only their clothes, rent a car, and drive to Casa Kennedy. Punta Banda and Casa Kennedy provide the rest.
